We finally decided to purchase an air mattress last summer and bid for a Select Comfort on E bay.....it was a "Scam" and I was out $1200 along with about 100 other people even though the seller was listed for over a year with 100% positive feedback and a Dun and Bradstreet listing. Since both my wife and I have bad backs we really needed a new mattress and I finally decided to purchase from Nationwide (should have done this the first time). I purchased the Cerulean model (std King) with the visco foam upgrade. The bed was delivered in about a week from ordering, but it was the wrong size. I called Richard on a Friday afternoon and he had the correct bed at my door the next Tues with a return pickup set up for the other bed. (Great Service).
Set-up was easy, I felt the difference the first night, by having no pressure points and soreness when I woke up. My wife took a little longer to adjust to the bed, but really likes it now. We installed the visco foam right away and didn't try the standard foam, but I think the visco is the only way to go...you can feel how it molds to your body and adds some more support.
It kills me that I got ripped off from E bay and this bed is costing me twice as much as it should, but so far I am happy with the product. I think it is made better than the Select Comfort model (5000), it has 8 inch chambers instead of 5 inch. The two chambers fit closely together and so far we can't tell where one side begins and ends (the visco foam might add to that).
As far as I'm concerned....Richard and Nationwide have lived up to everything that has been written about them. they have been fast, courteous, and have rectified the mis-delivery problem immediately.
I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a mattress. The 90 day trail is a no brainer.....and one I should have used "Before" I got ripped off on E bay.
AFTER a YEAR..
Nationwide still provides great service after a year and within hours of an e mail has taken care of a small problem I had with my mattress.
They are a class act...and great to deal with.
