Gymboree sells high-quality children’s clothing for newborn to age 9.
SITE NAVIGATION
On the home page for Gymboree, you can click on the top tabs for Newborn (0-8mo), Baby Girl (3mo-3T), Baby Boy (3mo-3T), Girl (to 9yrs), Boy (to 7yrs), and Gifts & Toys. From the home page you can also access My Account, Help, Search, Customer Service, Order Tracking, Store Locator, Terms of Use, Privacy & Security, Our Company and Join Our Team.
You shop by gender and age. From that point, the clothing is separated by type (tops, bottoms, etc). You also have the ability to build “outfits” online.
Gymboree sells their clothing based on “collections”, and you can also shop by collection. Some of the current “collections” include - Tip Toe, Groovy Valentine, Whale Watching, Dig Dig Dig, Monster Love, Outdoor Excursion, Garden Dreams, Pink Tulip, Doggy Wants a Bone, Animal Crackers, Dinosaurs, and Little Fire Truck.
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ORDERING INFORMATION
Gymboree allows you to order online, or by telephone. Your credit card transmission online will be secure, using SSL encryption. They accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, JCB, and electronic gift certificates.
Shopping at the Gymboree online store is a great idea for gifts, since they will give you a complimentary gift box with your order, including a gift receipt.
Returns are simple. Gymboree allows returns within 6 months as long as the clothing is unworn and unwashed with the tags still in tact. You also have the option of returning to the brick & mortar stores, which can be particularly convenient if you have one nearby.
For me, I feel that the clothing is somewhat pricy – but the high quality and trendy styles make it worth it. Tops will run you around $20, shoes around $22, bottoms or sweaters around $30, dresses around $32, and jackets around $50. This isn’t terribly expensive, and the clothes will last.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
Gymboree will process your order within 1 business day with delivery via FedEx within 3 business days. They ship to the United States, APO/FPO addresses, and US territories. They will also ship internationally for an additional charge.
The standard delivery will range from $4.95 - $14.95 depending on how much you spend. If you want express delivery, it will cost between $11.95 - $21.95, also dependant on your order total.
The Gymboree online store frequently offers free shipping and handling on orders totaling $100 or more.
MY EXPERIENCE
I love purchasing from the Gymboree online store for my children. I am a huge fan of the clothing since it is of such excellent quality for a decent value, and I can easily pass it on down from my older daughter to my younger. The website is very easy to navigate, and I love that it automatically suggests coordinating items and hair accessories. I have never been disappointed with the customer service at the Gymboree online store. The ordering process is simple and straightforward, and I have always received the clothing in a very timely manner. My order arrives nicely packaged, with the clothing unwrinkled and ready to wear. I have been able to find clothing from collections that are in the process of being discontinued on the online website that I have been unable to purchase in the brick & mortar stores. The only negative aspect of shopping at the Gymboree online store is that if you are a frequent Gymboree shopper, you may be a user of their GymBucks program. It is a serious hassle to redeem GymBucks online.
FINAL RECOMMENDATION
I definitely recommend shopping at the Gymboree online store for a quick and easy shopping experience. If you intend on redeeming GymBucks in your purchase however, I would probably head on over to a brick & mortar store.
