The 4350 strikes just the right balance between power and size. The embedded wifi and bluetooth connectivity is flawless and easy to use. It comes with Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 (Windows CE 4.2) and the .NET Compact Framework, so it's rock-solid dependable, and there's tons of software available.
I use mine for the following:
1. Email, calendar, task and contact management, using Outlook (which syncs with my company's Exchange server in seconds);
2. Reading the daily news (NYTimes, Wired, and Seattle PI);
3. Checking the weather forecast, with satellite and radar;
4. As an MP3 player, using the built-in SD card slot to store the albums;
5. For my personal accounting, using Microsoft Pocket Money;
6. For traveling, using Microsoft Pocket Streets;
7. Web browsing, using Internet Explorer;
8. As a scientific calculator;
9. As an eBook reader;
10. To chat, using MSN Messenger;
11. To write an edit documents using Pocket Word;
12. To connect to my desktop from the road, using Terminal Services Client.
There seems to be no end to what you can do with this device.
The battery has been working very well, though I wish there was an option to discharge the battery to ease battery management, and the charger is about as small and light as they come.
The integrated keyboard makes the device longer, but it makes up for it by being thinner, and it makes writing emails, etc., so much easier. This is important to me, as I haven't found a handwriting recognition application that works for my script yet.
Standard security is fine, but I recommend installing Picture Password to speed access with preserving security.
I've been waiting for a useful handheld since the Apple Newton. Finally, I'm satisfied.
