Cons: It can get costly when you use it all the time. But worth it.

A few years back I got a sample product in my mail called Febreze! I thought what in the world have they come up with now! Looking it over I realized it was an odor eliminator for fabrics and odors left behind by pets and spills and of course like so many others that may have received a sample I wondered if it would really work. It was some months later that I actually used Febreze because I put it under the kitchen sink and forgot about it. When my Uncle passed away (back in 1999) I was responsible for cleaning out his apartment and in so doing I realized that his furniture smelled bad. I remembered the Febreze at that time and took it with me to his apartment. Boy was I glad I did!
I took the small sample bottle and sprayed the Love Seat and Rocking Chair left to me and realized right away that this product was good. So I went out and bought a bigger container of Febreze. I sprayed all his old mattresses and curtains. The stuff was so old at the time that if any of it got messed up it didn’t really matter. None of his stuff was messed up in any way. If any thing, they all smelled and looked better!
Then I went Febreze crazy. I sprayed my own Sofa and Love Seat, Rocking Chairs Chair’s, etc. I sprayed the Mattresses and all the stuffed animals in the house. I sprayed the curtains and the carpets. And I was simply amazed at how much better these household items smelled. So I went out and sprayed the trucks as well.
The Product
FebrezeŽ safely eliminates odor on fabric. It is a soft spray that you spray on your furniture, curtains, carpets and even clothing and shoes. Spray it in the automobiles too! I spray the product all over the house every other day or so. The house always smells clean after using this product and the scent last and last.
The smell is very pleasant and leaves no residue behind. It really is safe for all materials in my household. And after using Febreze not only does these items in my house smell better but the house itself smells better and for a long while. I use Febreze all the time. Having a young son who makes messes and a dog that is in the house from time to time Febreze is the product for me. I can spray some on anything that has been spilt in the carpet (after cleaning up with a damp cloth) or behind the dog and the area is left smelling clean and fresh. In fact Barnabas’s pen is sprayed often.
It is great for pet odors, smoke odors, cooking odors and closet odors. It is also great for mold and mildew odors. It is also safe for most all fabrics.
FebrezeŽ is available in several sizes as well as several types. However the size that I currently have is 33.81 fl oz, (1000mL) (1.05 QT) white plastic bottle with a blue spray pump. On the front of the bottle you will find Febreze written in big navy blue letters and the following: “Safely Eliminates Odor on Fabrics, Extra Strength, Heavyweight Fabrics, Carpets & Upholstery. Fabric Refresher.” You will find these descriptions in various places on the front of the bottle.
The cost for this size is around 5.00. The smaller size is around 3.00. You can also buy it by the gallon if you can find it for around 10.00. You should also check you local Dollar Stores because sometimes they are even cheaper than Wal Mart.

And since it’s sinus allergy time again with all the pollen in the air I have found that the New Allergen Reducer helps a lot. In fact, the original FebrezeŽ helps a lot!
Directions
Turn nozzle “on” to spray. Spray fabric evenly until slightly damp. Odors fade as items dry. Use more for difficult odors. That’s it! Nothing hard at all. Just spray and walk away!
I keep my bottle where I can get to it all the time and its left in the “on” position.
Precautions
Safe on virtually all fabrics. On fabrics, which may water-spot (such as silk) test a small area of fabric that cannot be seen. USE ONLY AS INTENDED. AVOID ACCIDENTS. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT SPRAY DIRECTLY TOWARD FACE. IF EYE CONTACT OCCURS, RINSE WELL WITH WATER.

How I Feel about Febreze
I love it! I use it all the time and for several years now. I had another relative pass away, an Aunt and I got her Cherry Wood bedroom set. The dust smell was horrible because the furniture had set up unused in her home for years. When we got the furniture home I took the mattresses outside and sprayed the FebrezeŽ all over them, and left them in the sun to dry and air out. That was back in March of 2001 and to this day there have been no more musty, dusty smells. I also sprayed (slightly) the insides of the drawers of the furniture and have had no smelly odors there either.
I keep the original FebrezeŽ or a FebrezeŽ Auto in the trucks. Helps to keep that new smell around a lot longer. And, gives the truck a clean, fresh smell all the time.
Go and get some FebrezeŽ and try it for your self and you will see just how great a product it is. I hope that this has helped in some kind of way.
