poor response

while i thought that ediets could be of assistance--i particularly liked the menus and shopping list--to me during my attempt to loose weight, i was shocked when my checking account was debited for $78. i didn't realize a couple of things:
i didn't realize i had enrolled when i was trying to find out the price. when i received my next bank statement, i discovered i had enrolled w/o knowing i had. since i had been considering ediets anyway, i elected to let it go.
however, a few months later i received another shock: my checking account had been debited by ediets for another fee. this caused me to go in the hole with my checking account.
i called ediets to cancel my membership and asked why i had not been alerted to the fact that i would be charged an additional fee prior to ediets doing it. the person with whom i talked argued with me about how i should know this was going to happen. she didn't take care of refunding my money. that didn't happen until i wrote Robert T. Hamilton, Chief Financial Officer, eDiets.com, Inc., 3801 West Hillsboro Boulevard, Deerfield Beach, Florida 33442-9481. then i received only $72--not the full $78 my account was debited. also, because of this one debit, my account was overdrawn by over $150. i requested ediets to pay these fees, which the rep couldn't do of course. i asked to speak to a supervisor. she told me one would call me back. i didn't get a call from anyone nor has anyone responded to my letter.
i did take advantage of one support group live conversation. however, i wasn't impressed with it. i asked several questions which were blithely ignored. just before i left the group, i sent a sarcastic remark--that got the moderator's attention.
i also don't think there are any diet programs that can handle a situation where one has a single functioning kidney, like me. ediets is no different.
