Once you look at the styling for the Hyundai Sonata, and check out the long list of included options and warranty for the price, you will want to test drive it to see if this could be true.
The controls are laid out simply, and easy to access. The acceleration is not bad for the 4-cylinder, and a little better for the 6-cylinder, which you will sacrifice a few M.P.G's for.
The vehicle is a decent ride, but don't confuse it with a large luxury car, but is is not an escort either, only the price tag is.
The only reason not to buy one is you can afford not to care about value, only the emblem status on the hood.
One year later (08-29-05) 2 oil changes and an air filter. No problems.
