I purchase Lysol Disinfectant Spray because I want a germ free home. It seems as if my children love to bring the flu and colds home from school. To top things off my husband works at a prison and he brings all sorts of colds home. Being that my health is not the greatest I can catch colds and flu bugs very easy. I try to maintain a clean and germ free home.

My Experiences With Lysol Crisp Linen Scent
First of all when my husband comes home, I ask him to take his shoes off at the door and then spray his boots down with Lysol. He doesn't mind doing this because he is a C.O. and works around a lot of inmates that have Aids, TB, Hepatitis, flu's, colds, chicken pox, etc. You name it, it eventually makes its way to the prison. Besides, his boots can use a bit of deodorizing once in a while, it serves as a dual purpose.
We have a few nieces and nephews that come around and like to play on the floor. We also have a zoo full of animals in my home. I am always spraying down the carpets, and animals sleeping quarters.
I also like to spray down our mattresses during flu and cold season. It seems to cut down on the colds. It also makes our rooms smell good. I normally spray just the stripped mattress and then wait for it to dry. Then I will place my clean sheets down. For me, I suppose it just gives me an added sense of protection.
I will spray my inside garbage cans down with Lysol. I also have this thing about spraying around my toilet. I can't stand a dirty bathroom. I want to know that it is clean. I have never thought about spraying the door knobs until I thoroughly took the time to read the directions on the can. I think I will start doing that too, especially around the bathroom knobs, and where you flush the toilet.
I always spray my shower curtains down with Lysol. I have one bathroom that does not receive much light. I want to make sure that it never gets moldy. I spray the whole bathroom down with Lysol Disinfectant Crisp Linen Spray including the shower curtains.
Basically, Lysol is a make me feel better kind of spray. I don't think my home feels as clean without it. I also like to use it in my car. Sometimes my son will spill some sort of drink in the car. No matter how much you clean sometimes you can develop a sour smell. I like to spray the Lysol Crisp Linen Scent on the seats and under the seats. I also like to spray this in my trunk. Sometimes my trunk will smell a bit musty after carting groceries in and out. I think this spray is perfect for your trunk. After spraying I will let my car and trunk air out for a few minutes, and then I am very pleased with the results.
I like to use a bit of it in my husbands work shed. Sometimes it can smell a bit musty in there, especially when one of the kids forget to shut the door to the shed and it rains.
I also spray a bit in the clothing hampers after we are done washing the clothes and the baskets are empty.
How do I like the Smell?
I love the smell. It is not over powering. It sure beats the old smell of Lysol I remember when I was growing up. This scent doesn't choke me. It is very light and really does smell like a crisp linen, but maybe with a hint of rubbing alcohol. It really isn't bad. It smells clean.
Overall
Lysol is a name that I can trust. We have used it in our home for as long as I can remember. Whether it works or not, I like to think it does. It gives me comfort knowing/thinking that my home is being invaded with less germs.
