| hyundai_fan's Full Review: Trisonic TS825BH 25' Extension Phone Cord Phone |
If you answered "yes" to the following situations, the following product is what you need:
*You just moved into a new house and you have only one phone and one phone jack. Unfortunately you need to put your phone in your bedroom and the stock cord isn't long enough.
*You got an online adapter for your Playstation 2 (like I did) or X-box and got mad that they didn't include a phone cord.
*You happen to want to extend the range of your phone's headset (for those with a cord) because it's not fun when you're talking with a VIP and suddenly the phone slips out of your hand and slides across the floor.
Fortunately Trisonic has made a 25-foot extension cord for anyone who needs extra length between phone and jack. For those wanting to extend a cord, you'll need to buy an adapter called a coupler separately.
There are four types of cords you can buy and that does not count the different lengths: white coil, white cord, black coil and black cord. They can match almost any phone so the extension looks "natural".
It's easy to use the extension cords. It's the same as the ones that came with your phone when new. Just plug one end into the phone and plug the other in the phone jack. That's it. No tools or technical knowledge is required.
There are even more uses for such cords. You can buy a seven-foot cord so people who use the phone don't go out of the room (perfect for teenagers when you want to hear what they're talking about), or you can buy sizes up to 100 feet for when the phone is not intended to be near the phone jack.
As you know by now, I just got a $40 network adapter for my Playstation 2. It didn't come with a phone cord so I bought a 25-foot black cord (it matches the PS2's color nicely) for one dollar at a local dollar store. It is just as high of a quality as any other cord which is surprising.
The only problem with the cord is how easily the small tabs break on the connector part. When it breaks it causes the connector part that clicks into place to fall out. Lifting the tab fixes the problem.
Other than that the Trisonic cords have been a great product at a cheap price. Expect longer cords to cost more and shorter cords to cost less. Either way, the price is well worth it.
