Pros: Lightweight, Easy to use, sufficient battery life, tough and durable
Cons: Not enough memory, cheap headphones, poor FM radio.
The Bottom Line: I recommend buying this only if you are willing to buy new headphones and an sd card for more storage. Or else you'll spend more than you wanted to spend.

| underwater88's Full Review: Sonic Blue Rio S35 128MB MP3 Player |
This player turned out to be a pretty good investment. However, 128 mb wasn't enough so I soon found myself investing in a 256 mb sd card. The main reason I won't be keeping this mp3 player is that it just doesn't have enough memory for me. You can only add so much. And the FM reception was terrible. Rio shouldn't have advertised its player as having an FM radio. Other than that, the product was great.
The Rio S35S was extremely simple to use. It took only
a few minutes to become accustomed to the workings of it. The software was also very simple. Changing the song and settings was a breeze and the menus were very user friendly. And it's so tough. Mine has survived several falls and drops. The rubber on the outside can be easily scratched, but never all the way through to the plastic underneath it. The fact that the LCD is sunken in helps a lot, because it gives it a better chance of avoiding scratches and dings.
Overall, this mp3 player is good for people who don't need a lot of space and who don't mind that its radio doesn't work very well. It's worth the money, imo. But I only paid $100 for it.
