DISH NETWORKS advertises the ease of a move transistion "TAKE IT WITH YOU" they say. i called to inform them of my move only to sit on hold for more than 20 minutes. i finally decide that i will email the information w/ a forwarding address. i NEVER get a response until i notice they made a DRAFT on my visa/checking acct. in the amount of $300.00 with NO PRIOR NOTIFICATION. i called around mid-late afternoon luckily i got a rep on the phone in about 12 minutes. he informs me that they CAN'T respond to all emails because they HAVE TOO MANY CUSTOMERS, but i see they were able to draft my account, the $300.00 is for the equipment, what about "take it with you"? you can but you can't disconnet, not even for the week or two while you are moving. so he says they will send me boxes to return equipment. 2 weeks later i still have no boxes and so DISH NETWORKS decides to TAKE $167.00 from my account AGAIN W/OUT NOTIFICATION! i call, DISH NETWORKS said they did it because i have not sent in the equipment. how can i w/out the boxes or an address? all DISH NETWORKS had to say was " we sent the boxes, guess i will have to resend them. funny how i put $150.00 down 2 YAERS AGO, and paid monthly rent charge for equipment and it is still worth $467.00????? it is not even the newest model of recievers.
