Pros: Better than Bushnell or Nikon 8x42s at bargain prices for top quality Japanese optics.
Cons: The newer Tasco EXPs are not Japanese quality optics.

These are still available at CDNN. They are superior to many German, and other Japanese binoculars. They are clear with no chromatic aberrations at the edges. These are light weight, and have superior light transmission. Nitrogen purged, totally waterproof, multicoated top of the line Japanese optical glass. At $99.00 you can't buy a NIKON that will beat it. These are an extension to your eyes. Tasco is no longer manufacturing these EXP binoculars in Japan. The new EXPs are using inferior optics made in China or Korea and build quality is not as good as their older models. Take advantage of the old TASCOs marketing mistake and grab a pair of these gems.
