Pros: Availability, size, price
Cons: Ease of use, dependability
The Bottom Line: Don't buy it for Windows, I hear it works well with Mac though. Get the Linksys USB BT adapter instead.

| gedeyenite's Full Review: D-Link PersonalAir DBT-120 USB 1.1 Network Adapter |
I bought this because I was eager to connect my new Tungsten T5 to the internet through one of my home PCs (and eventually my work PC) -- primarily I am a technophile and wanted to introduce myself to BLUETOOTH technology.
What did I learn from the D-LINK BT-120? That I should have followed my previous personal rule that D-Link products are no good. Always, always, always pay the extra money for the Linksys version of what you need.
I have in the past had a MicroSoft Wireless-B router and a DLINK PCMCIA 54bps wireless card and both have been nothing but administrative nightmares; constant reinstalls, dropped drivers, conflicts, etc.
Linksys has proven to live up to their reputations. Easy installs, low administrative overhead and constant performance. I have a Wireless-G router, a relay station, a USB to CAT5 adapter (on my TiVo), and all my PC wireless cards are Linksys.
THe DLINK BT adapter was all office max had. I fiddled with it for 4 hours with limited success and then read a lot of bad things on forums about it. Needless to say, I returned it the next day. If I cant get the Linksys USB BT adapter on eBay for a good price that I am going to be more than willing to shell out full price on it from a store or online retailer.
I hope this helps some other fledgling Bluetoothers out there from making a frustrating and bad decision.
I will give a detailed review on the Linksys when I get my hands on one. Hey! Maybe I will even write the reveiew on my Tungsten when it is linked to the internet!!!
