| thecheat's Full Review: Casio WVA104HLA-8V Wave Ceptor Atomic Watch |
The Casio wave ceptor WVA104HLA-8V atomic watch. The high rank of accurate watches. Suggested retail $59.99 which is cheap compared to lots of other watches over $100 but still with great features like the first and foremost: resetting itself every night so even if it loses a minute every day it will just lose the same minute over and over again so it never shows. Even when I have taken it camping it still updates. This is because of the handy Satellites in orbit that it uses to update. Also, staying on the subject of updating it will not up date unless it is close to or facing a window. It updates at 12:00 P.M. (midnight) and if for any reason it could not update you can press the receive button, set it down and it will update. Usually, since clocks rarely lose more than a couple seconds a day, this is not a worry because it will just update the day after it missed the update.
The next feature is the chronometer. This one goes to the hundredth of a second unlike some that only go to a tenth of a second. The chronometer of course is not a big deal because just about any watch (4even some of the ones in cereal boxes) come with one. Though this is not a big deal it is still nice that they put it in the watch.
The third feature is the alarms. This watch has three alarms on it. All of which can be turned off or on or in any sequence. The alarms, unfortunately, cannot be set for certain dates. This is not due to the reason that there is no date, because there is. But probably because the makers just forgot to put it in or there was no excess memory left to fit it in.
The fourth feature is the ability to press a button and change the time zone. It does not do this for you, Though I wish it did, but is simple and easy to do so it is, again, not a big deal. the watch has a much better (in my opinion since I do not leave my time zone very often) and very time and annoyance saving, daylights savings time changer. So no more changing the clock or being embarrassed by forgetting and saying the wrong time because it does it for you!
This watch has other features that I do not need and so have never used and do not know how to use. Seeing that I do not know where the manual does not help any so, sorry I am not able to tell about the rest of it (two or three features)
Please write comments if you know any more (I would hate to be under informing!)
