This is the worst designed and conceived printer I have ever had to deal with. What is with this exchanging cartridges for paper vs photo? Did they think that was a good idea. The cartridges are tiny in quantity. It's like HP marketing dictated that less ink for the same price as prior models would build profits. I have owned prior HP printers. Thanks too for using a huge percent of my precious and expensive ink for cartridge alignment setup when a cartridge is exchanged out. What's with all that clunking and crashing when it grabs paper? It doesn't sound like it will last very long under all that mechanical banging around. I could understand it if it was handling sheet metal.
But actually the quality of print is good and the speed is very satisfactory for my home use. If you don't have to actually deal with the physical printer, just print from the computer, it's a good printer. It's like whoever designed this mess did not get around to using it to see if it made sense. If they did, they are in denial.
