TWILIGHT DISAPPOINTMENT
Immediately upon release (received a email notifying me of the limited edition jacket), I ordered a Jack BB Dakota - Gal's Twilight Jacket, in Blue, in Medium, for my teen daughter. The email confirmation arrived immediately. The jacket arrived. Whereas the packing list stated "MEDIUM", the jacket clearly staed "SMALL" on the packaging, and on the jacket. Those who know Twilight fans, realize the rage that follows the book and movie series. I phoned customer service, and was told that the jackets, in Medium were already promised to other customers. Nevermind that I ordered the proper size, and THEY shipped the wrong size. I no longer recommend PACSUN.COM for purchases, as they ship wrong sizes and have poor customer service. Instead I recommend shopping at gliks.com

Merchandise at PacSun.com is targeted toward tweens, teens, college students and young adults (although some adults will also appreciate the fashions), with items for both genders. My oldest daughter (14) is fond of the hoodies (hooded sweatshirts), jeans, and other apparel/accessories found at this shopping site. Although we have a PacSun storefront in a nearby city, our family often prefers the convenience of shopping online. This online merchant sells a nice variety of the clothing styles that my oldest daughter prefers. Importantly this online store is trustworthy.
PacSun sells brands such as Billabong, Roxy, O'Neill, Reef, Hurley, Kirra, Volcom, Lilu, Element, Vans, Etnies, and more. Merchandise includes clothing, accessories, bags, backpacks, room decor, undergarments, shoes, sunglasses, body jewelry and more. While this retailer frequently offers items at a 2 for savings (or other deals), styles at this merchant are brand-name trendy, and regular prices reflect that.
We are pleased with the web site and the service that we have received from PacSun online store. The site is easy to navigate, offering a home page with: a search box at the top, a top bar that includes category options and a mid bar that offers primary brand options. Generally speaking we navigate to the 'girls' section, via a simple click on the top bar. This site offers graphics that load quick and provide proper representation of the merchandise they sell.
It is simple to put items of choice into the shopping bag, and then checkout or continue shopping. When you are ready to checkout, you can do so as a member of the site or as a guest. Payment options include: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Novus/Discover, PacSun credit cards, PacSun Online Gift Certificates, or Rocketcash. During checkout you are provided shipping options, which include: Standard Shipping, USPS Priority, FedEx 2nd Day, or FedEx Next Day. We usually select standard (charges vary depending on the order total). Although the site states that standard shipping means package arrival in approximately 10-14 days, our merchandise is usually received in 7. As residents of Washington State, we are charged sales tax, as there are PacSun storefronts in our state.
If you need to return or exchange an item purchased, you have up to 30 days to do so. This can be done at the PacSun storefront or via the online site. As with other merchants, shipping charges are non-refundable (unless the item(s) are damaged or the wrong item(s) were shipped).
Overall we are pleased with www.PacSun.com and will continue to shop at the storefront and the online site. The online site was most appreciated during the back-to-school season, when the local storefront was so picked over that my daughter had a hard time locating the small sizes she needed. Again during the Christmas season, we were able to easily purchase the Roxy and O'Neil hoodies that my teen asked for.
In addition to offering the online shopping options, this site also provides information about the company, and a store locater.
