My HORRIBLE Experience with US Cell & Defective Phone!

Pros: The actual phone service worked.
Cons: The ABSOLUTE WORST MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I've EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE!!!
The Bottom Line: I would advise staying away from US Cellular at all costs.

I have used US Cellular Service for about 5 years. One year ago I renewed with a 2 year contract to go with a nicer LG phone which I also shelled out $70 for. After a few months my phone started giving me trouble. Whomever I called could hear me but I couldn't hear them. I had also moved and the nearest USC location was an hour drive away. I called them and they said they would replace so I drove there 60 mi away and they gave me another phone but they wouldn't give me a new phone. Only one that was supposedly refurbished?!? I took it anyway and it wouldn't even work right from the start! When I used it no one could hear me but I could hear them. They had only just passed a defective phone over on me. I called another USC center and they said they would leave me a new phone in the box with my name on it. I drove over an hour again only to be told they were out of my model phone. I asked if I could just switch it out for something camparable but they refused. You could tell the salesman at the Goldsboro, NC location could really careless about helping me anyway. He kept asking why I didn't have any cell phone insurance. I told him the phone had a year warranty I didn't need any. He also said that all the replacements were previously used. They wouldn't help me get another phone so now I'm stuck with a defective phone I can't use. U.S Cellular is the worst company I've ever had to deal with in my life.
