Post-Acquisition has made Affordablehost.com worthless

The DotCanada buyout of Affordablehost has made Affordablehost WORTHLESS. Support is terrible, with pathetic excuses for addressing issues.
Case in point: anonymous FTP. They disabled this, claiming it is a security hole. Why is it, then, that every competitor to Affordablehost is able to offer anonymous FTP? Here the quote from support:
"Because it is a shared environnement, anonymous ftp has been disabled on the server itself for security reasons."
Case in point: SSH access to the servers to allow things like secure POP, SMTP, or FTP. Again, they claim it's a security issue. Again, why, when competitors to Affordablehost.com offer this without breaking a sweat?
On more than one occassion, they've moved customers to different servers without letting them know in advance. So, you could go for days checking your email and wonder why no new email seems to be showing, then be told after the fact that you were supposed to start using a new server.
Before the buyout, web email used to be accessible by HTTPS over port 443, making it useable from locked-down corporate environments. Not anymore, they moved it to port 2096, without bothering to tell anyone in advance. Thanks but no thanks.
They new ownership also has a habit of making Terms of Service changes without telling anyone. The most egregious of this changes has been the removal of the pro-rated refund. So if you pay for an entire year, and decide to leave early, you don't get any refund at all. Interesting how they did that after so many started to complain.
Search the net for combinations of "affordablehost" and "complaint", "frustration", "abuse", or "sucks" to see the myriad complaints being reported by current customers.
DO NOT USE AFFORDABLEHOST.COM!!! STAY AWAY!!! GO ELSEWHERE!!!
