Pros: O.K. if free with service or under $10.00. Good clarity on calls.
Cons: Side buttons are always triggering and beeping. Poor software and poor menu navigation.
The Bottom Line: Would not pay for it, but it is fine if free

The phone itself works fine, with good clarity. However, I HATE THIS PHONE because the buttons on the side are always being triggered and beeping. I can't keep the phone in a jacket pocket, because the buttons are always triggering. When on the belt clip, it is better, but the top frequently flips open if bumped while walking, putting on a seatbelt, etc. Had the phone in a fanny pack on a hike one day, and the lens cover slid open. The side buttons kept activating, I ended up with about 60 pictures of nothing in the gallery, and the battery worn down.
This phone works fine for basically being a free phone with the Verizon service. But navigating through the menus is not as simple as with my old Motorola, or my girlfriend's old Nokia. And the voice dialing is annoying, you have to go through several steps to initiate the call, when on my Motorola, you just had to press the button and say the name of the person you wanted to call.
The camera function is decent, for a simple quick picture that doesn't need to be of high quality. I have used this several times as one might use a Polaroid: such as taking a picture of a plumbing configuration to show the clerk at Home Depot and get the right part.
The battery life is fairly good for standby, but once you are actually talking, the battery runs out pretty quickly.
So, if you are getting the phone free with service, sure it is fine. But if you have a choice, go for a Motorola or Nokia.
