I don't normally shop at Victoria's Secret but I needed some unmentionables and I had recently received a large snazzy catalog from Victoria's Secret in the mail and decided to give the store a try.
MERCHANDISE
Victoria's Secret is mostly known for its sexy lingerie although they carry pajamas, perfume and other feminine items. They also seem to carry a lot of clothing but, at 38, I don't really have the body or the energy to buy clothes from a lingerie store so I didn't explore that area too much.
WEB SITE
I found the web site fairly easy to use. The pictures were pretty good although the models were from outer space - I have never seen such perfect bodies on actual humans. I liked the fact that you could enter your bra size and features you liked such as lined or unlined, back or front closure and the site would automatically search for bras that met your criteria. You could also search for less functional features such as sexy bras. The web site was also great for immediately identifying matching items so you could easily find panties to match the bras.
ORDERING
Ordering was also fairly easy. I didn't have to enter a lot of unnecessary information. However, I did have to select a password which I have already forgotten.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
I got an email within an hour of placing my order that acknowledged my order. I got an email the day after placing my order that my order had shipped. The shipping email contained a link to UPS and a tracking number.
SHIPPING AND PACKAGING
I didn't find a code for free shipping although it wouldn't surprise me if such a thing existed. Here is the shipping information from the web site:

Also, according to the web site, orders usually arrive within 7-10 business days. My items showed up exactly a week after I placed my order. This seems about standard for internet shopping. I would have been disappointed if it took two weeks, or ten business days, for my items to arrive.
Each of my items was packaged in its own plastic bag and they were shipped in a sturdy cardboard box. Everything arrived in good condition. The cardboard box could be reused for a return if necessary.
STEALS AND DEALS
This site offers lots of coupons. There are coupon codes in the catalog and when I did an internet search I found a lot more coupon codes. On the ordering page there is the opportunity to enter 3 coupon codes so it looks like you enter up to 3 different deals. I used two coupons codes. One gave me money off my order and another got me a free sample perfume.
I tried to see if there were any rebate sites that offered a kickback to me but they don't seem to participate in the rebate sites that I like to use. My recommendation is that, if you like this store, definitely search around for as many coupon codes as you can find.
RETURNS
I didn't make a return so I don't know how well the process works. There was a return label with my packaging that I could have used for a return. They charge $4.95 if you use their label which is deducted from the amount they refund you.
FINAL RECOMMENDATION
I liked shopping at this store and found the whole process to be reliable and fairly easy. I would definitely recommend this store although I would urge shoppers to cruise the internet for coupon codes.
