AB&W uses drop shipper - STAY AWAY

American Blind and Wallpaper uses drop shippers, which is why some people have a good experience and others don't.
Drop shipping works like this: You place an order at AB&W and they charge your credit card, then they email the order to another company which actually has the product and ships it to you. The other company then charges AB&W for the product.
This arrangement works fine as long as a) the drop shipper has the product you want in stock, b) the shipment is correct, and c) the quality is good. If not, that's when the problems arise.
Because AB&W is just a middleman, customer service is very problematic. If the product isn't in stock, the shipper has no incentive to expedite your order. Drop shippers are reluctant to take returns and even more reluctant to make credits.
If you are successful in making a return, AB&W will not credit your account until the shipper credits their account. This can take weeks - or longer.
It's a good arrangement for AB&W since they don't need to carry inventory or deal with shipping. But it's a bad arrangement for the customer, if any problem arise.
I made two simple, successful purchases from AB&W, but then when I purchased something I wasn't happy with, I entered their dark hell of customer service.
AB&W does not have the best Internet prices. Their customer service stinks. Their "100% satisfaction guarantee"? Just marketing doubletalk.
My recommendation: GO ELSEWHERE.
