After seeing the commercial for the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner countless times I finally bought one. I suppose what took me so long was that thought in the back of my head that kept telling me this product is too good to be true...I was wrong!
What made me buy it finally? Our home is an older home built in the 1960's and the master bath has a small stall type shower with a glass door that is a real pain in the you know what to keep clean. We live in Texas so the humidity here just makes it worse, after showering you close that shower door and the mildew begins to grow almost immediately!
This product's advertising states that it will clean a dirty shower in seven days and then keep it clean with daily use, an example in pure truth in advertising! The Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner cost right at $20 at our local grocery store but I was able to print a five dollar off coupon off the net. The starter kit contains the shower cleaner, the hook to hang it with, two bottles of cleaner and the batteries. I couldn't wait to try it out, so the next morning after my husband and I had both showered I pushed the button to see what would happen. After pushing you hear a beeping for several second to give you time to get out of the way then the spraying begins. For 12 seconds the head located on the underside of the cleaner turns and sprays scrubbing bubbles 360 degrees on your shower walls and door.
So everyday the last person to shower in my bathroom hits the button and yes in one week my shower was spotless! The cleaner has a pleasant smell so not only was my shower clean but also my bathroom was left with a fresh smell, which is always nice for bathrooms.
I am still on my first bottle of cleaner and have one refill that came with the kit and am pleased as to how far it is going. I no longer have to get in our little tiny stall shower with over powering cleaners and a scrub brush to keep it clean and smelling fresh. I do however keep it a quick spray before the next shower just to make sure that all the cleaner is washed away. Life has just become much more simple for me!
The only thing I would change about this product is that I wished the hook to hang it was adjustable because I wished we could have it hang just a little higher in our shower. But aside from that is a product that I would recommend especially to consumers who have stall showers!
