Pros: Inexpensive; clean & easy to use; works better than any other cleaning product I've found
Cons: Just wish these were available in different sizes
The Bottom Line: If you could only have one cleaning product in your household, you should make it the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If I could give it six stars, I would!

| momn8r0306's Full Review: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser |
When the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser was introduced to the market, I picked up a box to try. They were nice for removing hand prints & dirt from the walls, etc. -covenient to have around.
The first true test however, came when my then two year old son got his hands on a green felt tip pen and introduced it to our (literally) brand new micro-fiber ottoman. We'd had the furniture less than a week, and the lady we spoke to at the furniture store suggested the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to clean up our son's art project. I was very happy with the results.
My next major trial of the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser was the pebbled floor of our tub/shower, which despite my best scrubbing efforts, held onto a nasty layer of hard water slime. For the first time in recent memory, we could take showers without feeling as if we needed to wash our feet again afterwards. None of these tasks however, could hold a candle to my most recent challenge.
We neglected to cover our boat at the end of the season last year, and through the fall, winter, and spring it had sat in our yard subjected to the elements. Now that our new baby was allowing us to have some order restored to our lives we decided it was time to get the boat cleaned up & spend some time on the lake. The vinyl upholstery was a disaster. I made a trip to a local marine supply store and purchased the most recommended cleaning product.
In spite of the expense & effort applied to getting the seats clean, it appeared we were going to have to invest in re-upholstering the entire boat. Though the mildew stains & general dirt were partially removed with the high dollar stuff, it wasn't as clean as it needed to be for any self respecting boat owner. There were also spots which appeared to be from acid rain, although I can't say for certain - regardless, the harsh chemicals made specifically for cleaning the vinyl didn't even put a dent in those.
I had seen the commercials for the Mr. Clean Heavy Duty Magic Eraser, touting their usage for tougher jobs like tile floor grout and suddenly the light came on. On a whim, I got out one of my Magic Eraser sponges and tested it on a seat cushion. I couldn't believe my eyes! It was like a dream as with almost no effort the dirt, mildew, and yes - even those mysterious water spots, came right off. I continued to work on the cushion until the whole thing was clean, which took very little time and energy. I showed my husband, who was every bit as awestruck as I was. I only regret that you can't see first hand the incredible "before and after" difference that we have witnessed. Mere words cannot do it justice.
We can't help but wonder now, is there anything the Magic Eraser wouldn't clean? Ah, what a wonderful thing if all of life's problems were so handily tidied up.
