Check out Home Theater Direct...

Feb 19 '02

The Bottom Line Check out on-line companies too. Home Theater Direct and Outlaw Audio are two great ones....and I don't work for them either!!!!

I was recently looking for speakers for our new Home Theater system for our new house. I had settled on Klipsch in-walls, an Infinity center channel and 12" sub-woofer. After reading audioreview.com and other sites I found out about Home Theater Direct speakers. I had never purchased anything of the 'net before and was very nervous about doing so until talking to Brian in their customer service who was extremely helpful. That and the excellent reviews, including Fortune500 magazine, convinced me I should try a set of their Level 3 speakers for about $650 including center and 12" sub-woofer. I am amazed at how good they sound and are excellent at shaking the house with very clear sound. The only problem is that they have just brought out an upgraded line of speakers for not much more money! I wish I could have bought them! Oh well I'm very happy with what I've got. Check them out I think you will be happy with them. I've just bought the Outlaw Audio 1050 Receiver which is also a 'net only company. Again I'm very happy with this too so buying off the 'net can be a good experience.....caveat emptor......
