Dish is Inferior, Customer Service is the WORST

Pros: NONE!!!
Cons: INCOMPETENT LIARS, THIEFS, CROOKS, AND CON ARTISTS. STUPIDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON EARTH.
The Bottom Line: $2400 is the bill I am stuck with for thier incompetence and crooked dealings, after MONTHS of NO PICTURE OR SOUND. GARBAGE! DISH SUCKS!

Yeah, they may have more channels than cable, but it never works! After suffering through long outages on about half the stations every day, I started calling to have techs come out to fix it. 6 appointments, which includes 2 no-shows, and still it wasn't fixed. That's 4 seperate times a repair man came to the house and failed to fix anything. They replaced all the receivers, and that didn't help. I finally cancelled. They said they would send boxes for me to ship the receivers back. For 4 weeks, every week I would call and ask where the boxes were, and each time was told, oh you didn't cancel, you're an active account. It didn't matter that I insisted to speak with supervisors. I have all thier names, and dates, etc, but it doesn't mean anything, they are all either crooks, or so incompetent they can't even cancel the account. After 4 weeks of cancelling, I finally get the boxes, and was told I need to return twice as many receivers than I have. This is because the crooked techs that were coming to the house and not fixing anything, never turned in the units they replaced. Dish insists they can't help me with this, I need to call the phone company my bundle was from. It's insane - the bundle is soooo convenient, one easy phone call and you get phone, dsl and dish. But they don't tell you the phone company won't help you when dish tries to steal from you, and you have to call all these companies seperately to cancel, and it's a nightmare! This is still not settled. I am out 6 days pay from work for waiting for repair man that showed up hours late, or never showed at all, AND never fixed anything! I had to cancel 4 times, before they finally got it. They are now fining me for cancelling early, because according to them its a contract violation. They don't care that they NEVER upheld thier end of the contract - i had lousy reception, and went weeks with no tv at all, and no repairman fixed it. This is the worst company, with the dumbest customer service people, and the most inept crooked technicians. DON'T GET DISH! If you do I promise you will regret it. You will not get what you paid for, and you can't get any help from this inept company.
