| bw_me99's Full Review: Aiwa NSX-MT725 Digital Mini Theater System |
This minisystem was purchased by me only because I needed a CD changer, good tape deck, and a digital tuner in my audio system. The speakers on this are very good sounding, but are loud! That's not really a bad thing considering you have a volume control. In my audio setup, I use other speakers that are a lot bigger and louder than the ones that come with this, but if I was shooting for max volume, this would do by itself.
The tape deck on this system works pretty good. It always plays tapes very nicely with good sound and no problem. The thing is, that after a few months, the recording quality started to decrease, and annoy me. I use a professional tape deck to record tapes now, but I still like this.
The digital tuner works great. Best possibl reception and clarity. I really don't understand the point of having the tuner say "100.70, 100.75, 100.80, 100.85, 100.90...etc". Radio stations are only on the 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 frequencies anyway.
CD playing is supurb on this system. Never had a problem and I hope I never do. Nice colorful lights on the top though!
