If you are a regular Half-Life fanatic like myself, you should love any version which is brought out resembling this game. I like every single mod (almost) and this is basically the biggest mod you could ever find for half-life.
It runs amazingly well on most systems due to the engine, so you don't have to worry about your pc-specs too much. For some reason it really looks like it is running in 32bit color though, they incorporated some very nice, vibrantly colored textures.
The guns are cool as well, much different than your standard shotgun, minigun/machinegun idea... You have all these alien guns to your disposal, which can be "modified". This means that you can set them to different settings, a very cool idea I must say!
If you love Half-Life and can't get enough of it you should consider getting this game... It's good according to me, but then if you are an avid Quake3 or UT fan, just don't buy it... It WILL dissapoint you then.
So, my conclusion is: a great game for true die-hard half-life fans! If you didn't really enjoy Half-Life steer clear of this one, as it seems almost the same, just with other monsters, guns and levels. (Some of the monsters are amazing, the brontosaurus looking one really blew my mind! ;)
