What I'm Thankful For...

The Bottom Line Count your blessings one by one.
I know the official write off is supposed to start tomorrow, but I figured if the host could post his early it would be okay for me to do so also. *grin* I am able to write better at night when the kids are in bed and I have some peace and quiet.
I know we are supposed to name 10 things we are thankful for. There is just so many things I have to be thankful for that I may go over the amount. I'll try not to write a book though.
1. I am thankful that I have Jesus in my heart as my personal Lord and Savior. He has seen me through some tough times and I owe Him everything.
2. My husband, Will, is the best husband a girl could ever have. He loves me unconditionally. He is fun to be around, honest, hard working, easy going and a good Daddy. He doesn't mind helping out with the housework and enjoys doing the weekly grocery shopping. (Don't ask me why, but hey if he likes it great with me!) Life without him would be pretty dark and sad. He is my lover, companion, and best friend. We've been married since April 17, 1993 and I wouldn't trade him for anybody.
3. I love my 4 children with all of my heart. Two of them aren't mine biologically, but I love them just like they were. My husband had 2 children from his first marriage when he was very young. Billy is 21 and is going into the Marines. Tiffany is 18 and is working and soon going to school. Billy lived with us for 7 years and Tiffany lived with us for 10 years. My husband had custody of them when the mother gave them to him when they were 2 and 5. Aaron and Allen are our kids together. They are 9 and almost 3. Sometimes they drive me crazy, especially when they fight like cats and dogs. I wouldn't trade them for the world though.
4. I'm thankful for my Mom and Dad. They took me to church every Sunday and taught me their values. They are hard working and honest people. I know I can always turn to them when I need advice.
5. I'm thankful for my health. When you lose that life becomes incredibly different. I'm thankful to have a healthy husband and children too.
6. I'm thankful that I had the 2 best grandparents in the world, Nanny and Granddaddy. They were the best people I have ever known. Both have gone home to be with the Lord. They always believed in me. They always thought I could do anything if I just wanted to. Their love and faith in me made my world so much brighter. I loved them like parents. I miss them so bad it hurts to the core of my soul.
7. I'm thankful to live in America. Of all of the places I could have been born and raised I'm so thankful that it was here. I am so thankful for my freedom.
8. I'm thankful that for now I can be a stay at home Mom. I worked for 10 years at Bank of America and was laid off when my department transferred to Atlanta. At the time I was really upset, but it has turned into a blessing.
9. I'm thankful for my very own home. Once we pay the bank off it will really be ours!
10. I'm thankful for many friends, online and real life. I'm thankful that I can call my sister, Tracy, a friend. We have fought on and off during our adult years and I think we are finally past that. I love her very much, just hope she knows it.
11. I'm thankful for music that helps me to experience so many different emotions. I'm also thankful for books to read. I can go around the world sitting in my Living Room.
Well, there's my list! I only went over by 1 thing so I think I did good! There are many more things I could list that I am thankful for. I am so blessed! I think this list pretty much covers the most important things though!
