burglars love Sentry safes

Pros: Fire protection. Fairly inexpensive

Cons: Burglary protection. Gives you a false sense of security.Can be pried by a toddler

As I looked into a professional locksmith certification course I found out that Sentry safes are used to teach basic opening techniques, more specifically combination locks.If a burglar walks into your home he will be truly delighted to see a Sentry safe.

Sentry will give you fire protection, but ask yourself: how many times do homes get burglarized and how many times do they go up in flames.
