All righty folks, this review has now been put in the "proper" catagory. Now just for the record, and please remember this is MY opinion, I think that it totally SUCKED the way most people gave NH's on this review. I understand the reason why, and I respect your opinions very hightly. But this is my opinion, it totally sucked, lol! Now with that said, on with the review..........
Johnson & Johnson is a name synomonous with quality, and this product is no exception. We first tried Johnson Bedtime Lotion when our baby was six weeks old. We received a free sample in the mail, and were praying that this product lived up to it's claim.
Johnson's Bedtime Lotion claims to help soothe fussy babies. By using both lavender and chamomile, Johnson's Bedtime Lotion creates a soft aroma, which is supposed to calm your fussy little one. We decided after our daughter kept us up for a week straight that it was definently worth a try! We used this lotion after our daughter's bathtime, and actually saw results!
Our daughter was calmer, and happier that night. She slept for seven hours straight, and only woke for her bottle and a diaper change, then promptly fell back asleep. Even though our daughter slept, i was skeptical. After all, she was tired. Perhaps she just wore herself out.
My skepticism was put to rest the next evening. Being that our daughter is young, she is bathed every other evening. Since she had no bath that next night, I didn't use any of the Johnson's Bedtime Lotion . Call it a test if you would. Our daughter just wouldn't settle in top bad that night. She was squirmy, and not comfortable. what I like to call "iffy". The next night after her bath, you better believe we used this lotion! And it worked like a charm. She was once again, a calmer happier baby.
We have decided to use this lotion nightly, not only because of the calming effect the aromatherapy has on our daughter, but the effectiveness this product shows as a great moisturizer. Her skin is softer, and not as flaky as some newborns tend to have. Overall, this is just another great J & J product.
The not so great feature of this product, is the hefty price tag thst goes along with it. For $3.79 for a 15 ounce bottle, it really isn't a bargain. But, with coupons that are widely available, the price is bearable. Did I mention that I'm a tight wad, lol!
Hypoallergenic, dermatoligest tested, great smelling, great moisturizing, AND it soothes your fussy baby! Johnson's Bedtime Lotion comes highly recommended!
