HI..
Can you tell me where to read about this law? I just simply cannot find it and I am very interested in reading the law.
Thank you so much!

Still sorry you don't believe there is this law (Reply to this comment)

I have been receiving the Paxil and Advair from Bridges to Access, since before they had the program named! I really am a 'little known' laws reader, believer, and I work with them all the time. I consider this to be a family affair, as families need to know that these laws are true. Just as the Boren law is true for people who quit their jobs to care for ill children or the elderly who live with them..........I am number one on the list of Boren money receivers (the first to receive the money!) because I read a lot. I spend a lot of time in court for other people, and I need to know all the laws I can possibly know. Call it a compulsion. gladys

According to the I information obtained from the company's web site (which I found by entering "Bridges +to Access" as the Google search phrase -- if you had put that in the review, it would have taken one less exchange in the comment section), their program is means-tested. As I said in my earlier comment, I have no idea whether it is the law, nor could I easily research it given only what you've posted.

And it's still off topic in Family Non-Fiction. It could be in Health Non-Fiction, or, I've been convinced, General Non-Fiction, but not Family Non-Fiction.

The way I read the directions for this it IS the place for those articles that don't fit anywhere else. I am surprised by your reaction. I am really surprised at your reaction to how to get the free medications. I told the truth re: how I get it. No one asked me what financial bracket I was in, or anything else. The law does state that any corporation that will not allow a generic to be had, MUST allow a percentage of freebies. I don't understand why this upsets you. I believe it to be valuable information. It keeps me breathing, literally. Yes, re: the doctor's recommendation. I wrote that a Dr's prescription was needed in the article. Do you not like me for some reason? Calwaone

"Bridges to Access" was sufficient for me to locate the information. I can't verify that it's required by law, or that all medications which do not have a generic equivalent are covered, but much of the information seems correct.

I can verify that you have to have income less than 250% of the "official" poverty level, or $25,000 if you are an individual in the continental United States. You also have to be recommended to the program by a health care professional, and annual reenrollment is required.

It's still off topic in Family Non Fiction -- it should be in Health Non Fiction. I'll change my rating from Not Helpful to Off Topic.

I'm sorry you don't believe this. It is true, I am living proof of it. I take Paxil and Advair, and I don't know the law's name, only the program's name. In this corporation, it is Bridges to Access. It is in the writer's corner, where I have been advised to write about things that are not listed anywhere else to write about. I know that so many people NEED these medications, and I had no where else to 'tell' them about it! I am very hopeful that people will follow the directions I have laid out, and will obtain their medications for free, as I do, since they can be so expensive. I've done this for years, it IS a law, and it IS a viable way to obtain the meds. Where would you have suggested that I put this article? It is not fiction, and it certainly has to do with family, in my epinion. Thank you for reading and I am sorry that you don't understand it. Calwaone

and unbelievable. You would need to specify the law in order for me not to rate this in the Not Helpful category.

It's still off topic in Family Non-Fiction.
