Lets Throw an Epinions Member In The Oven And Have A Roast!

I thought about waiting until September 18th to post this, but I was just so excited that I couldn't wait. September 18th will mark 1 year that I've been a member of this crazy place called Epinions and I wanted to celebrate by doing something special. I thought about a W/O, but was afraid it would be a complete flop, not to mention that Epinions has been flooded with W/Os these days. I thought about writing an essay giving credit to all of the wonderful members that have helped me come this far, but "BORING!" kept coming to mind while contemplating that idea. So what could I do that would be fun, memorable and out of the ordinary to celebrate the wonderful times that I've had at the site thus far? Light Bulb! How about having a Roast? For you youngsters, I'm not talking about the kind you serve with potatoes and carrots. I'm talking about a good old fashioned, humorous tongue-in-cheek ridicule of a friend, by friends. What do you guys think? Sound good so far? I love the idea, my Roastee (name to be disclosed soon) loves the idea and we're hoping you will all join in and have loads of fun with this.
~The Rules~
The rules are that there are no rules. NOT! Of course there are rules. How could we have a gathering of this magnitude without rules? It would be anarchy, pure chaos and definitely a mob scene. You people at Epinions would run a complete muck if I didn't set some sort of rules down. OK, I guess you all want to know what those rules are, don't you?
Rule#1...Have Fun!
Rule#2...Clean Fun!
Rule#3...Remember this is all in fun!
Rule#4...Be kind, but have fun!
Rule#5...Disregard the first part of rule #4 and have fun!
Rule#6...Anyone found not to be having fun will be labeled as No Fun!
Rule#7...Anyone caught not joining in the fun will never be thought of as Fun again!
Rule#8...Just for fun, all entries must be submitted by September 18th 2004, to be labeled fun.

~A Quick Overview Of The Rules~
All entries must be posted between now and September 18th, 2004. All entries must poke fun at Doc. Please email me a link or post it in the "Comments Corner" of this announcement. All entries should provide a link to Doc's page somewhere in the review (after all, she's allowing us to do this). Please post in the Humour Fiction. The most important rule of all is to have lots of fun! I will post entries in this announcement as I receive them. Entries can be in the form of poems or essays and must be humorous. No Sweet, sappy, suck-up crap allowed. Everyone is welcome:)
Roast: An act or process of roasting; specifically: severe banter or criticism.
A banquet honoring a person (as a celebrity) who is subjected to humorous tongue-in-cheek ridicule by friends.
