Cons: It could be easier to use...(Don't lose the manual!)

I am really glad I bought this boom-box. I enjoy it a lot. When I bought it I had no previous experience with AIWA, and wondered if I would regret it. In the future I'm sold on AIWA!
The boom-box itself looks good (especially mounted atop a boom-box stand). There are a lot of great features to this radio, like: surround sound, Super T-Bass, sleep timer, 24 station presets, high speed dubbing, microphone volume control, and a range of differing equalizer settings (jazz, rock, pop). It also has a feature I use a lot...at the press of a button you can program the CD player to play one or all songs on a CD over and over in succession.
It really plays loud too! The volume only goes to 29, but don't let this hinder your decision to buy it. I can hear it way downstairs in the laundry of my apartments (no need to be alarmed...all my neighbors are loud too!), and because it can't go higher in volume, means that you could never really blow the speakers (As I have done easily to boom-boxes I have owned in the past!).
The only drawback I could cite would be the fact that complete use of it is not self explanatory. I have had to resort to the user's manual on several different occasions. To set the radio channels, To set the radio alarm feature, and to figure out the tape dubbing features.
All in all this is a great product in my opinion. A great brand for that matter. Whenever I make audio purchases in the future I will check out AIWA before any other brand.
