Pros: tankless
Cons: 2 holes to the outside, quality is poor, size, breaks often.
The Bottom Line: Go tankless, but pick a better quality bigger unit (unless you live in a small apartment) not Aquastar.

had it for quite some time and would not buy it again. Too little for more than 1 bedroom house, breaks often, repairs and replacement parts are not so easy to find and expensive. when installing have to make 2 holes to the outside because it needs to have intake and output for air to the outside. Too many holes in the house. i don't like that. If you are looking for tankless, spend more and get quality, Rinnai for ex. But the idea for this technology is wonderful. love to have the water when i need it. of course can't take a shower and wash dishes or whatever. too little. worse yet, it keeps making noise when working like a train whistling, loud and obnoxious, you need to keep replacing some small part, but it lasts only a week or two then the noise is back again. worse yet, you can't have a water saver shower head because the unit is too small and can't handle the water pressure. I am dumping mine and buying a different company tankless and a much bigger unit. think of it as a Kia car vs Honda vs Lexus. This one is a Kia, it will work for a while but don't ask for much.
