Preferred Photo is a DECEPTIVE, MISLEADING, AND HORRIFIC company that should be dismantled by the Better Business Bureau. I bought a $730 LCD TV and was then told that it would not come with the pedestal stand unless I purchased that separately. I was very reluctant, but then the slimeball salesman on the other line made it seem very normal & then told me how big box retailers buy special packages from Toshiba that include the stands. I ordered the stand. Then, I checked online & every single other retailer offered the stand in the box - of course. So, I called back & wanted to cancel but was told the order was already processed...Well, the TV did come with the stand, right in the box like every other retailer - so where did my extra $129 go???? Where is the separate stand I was forced to buy? I tried to contact them, but they ran around my emails. I was told to call Customer Service, to no avail. It's a total scam! They also claim 21 Day Guaranteed Satisfaction - but in the fine print - this only applies to 1 product. This type of business should be dismantled because they are deceptive & unethical - they dupe the American consumer & steal money from hard-working individuals just trying to find a deal. I should have went with my gut. I should have went to Best Buy! DO NOT GO TO THIS WEBSITE. I'm filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. DO THE SAME - and perhaps the State of New York will close them down!
