I have now purchased 5 Square Trade warranties. These are easy to buy over the web, and on occasion I have also talked with their customer support team directly. The customer service I received in a word was "superior" to any other I experience. Buying a warranty is pretty straight forward. The sales support team were able to respond to my questions instantly and amend my warranty coverage as purchased the way I wanted. They were quick, and very customer satisfaction oriented.
Two of the 5 warranties needed to be used as the cell phones I had purchased malfunctioned. Even though the phones were supposedly covered under Manufacturers warranty, Square Trade was of enormous help in guiding us through the warranty claim process. The service experience was efficient and successful. There was constant communications between Square Trade and myself to update me on warranty status. The Square Trade web site is informative and also a good place to see repair/warranty status. I was very pleased with the results both times.
The Square Trade warranties are cost effective and their team is a pleasure to work with. So far I have been buying extended warranties for cell phones purchased on E bay, but I will continue to use Square Trade rather than buying more expensive warranties from stores. I would be as comfortable buying a square trade warranty on an big screen tv as I would another cell phone.
