My husband & son ordered my mother & myself tulips & a victory rose plant on-line from FTD for Mother's Day. They were delivered a day early. Upon arrival they were limp, but according to directions were revived with water within the period said in the directions. The tulips were beautiful & lasted nearly five days. However, the victory rose plant which was to be planted at our new home at a later date was the problem. The plant seemed fine at first, however, after the first five days started to wilt even after following the instructions. I then transplanted it into the next size container and continued following the instructions for watering and had the proper lighting. The plant proceeded to die quickly. I have never seen a plant die so quickly! I put it aside. About a week later, I mentioned it to a friend who has a "green thumb" and she said that plant much have had a disease to die so quickly. She said I should contact FTD and let them know. So after a few days, even though it was way past the seven day guarantee I thought FTD should know about this. Thinking they would agree the plant shouldn't have died and they would take care of this, I called. However, the "lack of service" was what I received. The woman on the line wasn't helpful and I finally asked to talk with her supervisor. I had explained the same as above. When I asked to talk with her supervisor she left the phone for about a minute and came back on and said that all they could offer me was a coupon with money off on my next purchase. I was rather upset with this solution, not only wouldn't she put me through to the supervisor, but I had no intention of purchasing further products from them after receiving something that had died so quickly and they weren't going to make good on that. After getting off the phone, I decided to go on-line and write the complaint and sent it via the website. I rec'd a email stating that they would look into the problem and get back to me within 48 hours. That was well over a month ago and I hadn't heard back from them. The other day, July 4, I wrote them back again, stating the situation again and the lack of customer service and my disappointment and expecting for sure to hear back from this time. Again, I receive the email stating they are working on the problem and will be back with me within 48 hours. As you might guess, I haven't heard back from them and that's why I've decided to post on Epinions. It's not right that they have decided to ignore this. As much as flowers and plants cost that they have decided not to respond and that I couldn't get satisfactory service even on the phone. That plant had something wrong with it, that happens. The fact that it didn't die within seven days, happens too. Obviously, they can't seem to get back to the customer within a reasonable amount of time. Something is lacking here from FTD...service. I will not be doing business with them and will tell everyone I know not to business with them. I feel like I gave them ample time to at least deal with the situation and they haven't.
