Very Disappointing first time shopping experience with Sweetwater

I recently ordered a $699.00 Brand New Zoom HD16 Digital recorder. I orderd it on a friday. My sales rep was going to mail it FedEx ground to Alaska and gave me a break on what would have been $60+ shipping for $25.00. Cool
To make a long story short, There was a delay in confirming the credit card and I called to see whats up. A different rep said He'd see about getting the shipping expidited for the inconvenience. Which did not happen.
Nearly two weeks later I recieved either a demo, or a bring back. The cords were rewrapped and one wasnt even in the interior box. It was under the manual which is permanently bent btw :/ And finger mars on the first 3 channel sliders and near some of the knobs.
The guy says they probably had it out of the box to show someone features on it. Well, at least the the thing works and I was able to clean off the the greasy finger prints.
The best part about the story is, they had demos there at the store I was told. So why would they want to open a brand new box to show features? Be carefull with these guys. The cost wouldnt be worth it to try and litigate so Im stuck with a used machine. I just hope nothing goes wrong with my "new" toy. They wouldnt send me any type of warantee either so Im sweatin sweetwater :|
