Very easy to order from the website. I was very excited that I found a game I had been interested in getting, and it was available at a very low price. Family Video confirmed then order and shipped the product very fast, however they sent the wrong game. I don't understand it; the packing slip specifically said the game title and game system, but I received a totally different game for a different system.
After doing some research, I found out that I have to pay return shipping for the product, and since my order was only for $5, I don't know what to do. They even told me to ship it USPS insured mail. So in other words, it was fine for Family Video to ship it media mail for $1.60, but they expect me to pay more to return it to them insured. They messed up, not me. I also think FamilyVideo intentionally messed up my order by shipping me a game for an obsolete video game system (That they could never sell) so they could make a profit, knowing very well that it was highly unlikely for me to pay return shipping for the wrong item.
I will stay away from FamilyVideo.com from now on, and will most likely use an online rental service instead of visiting Family Video stores. I understand mistakes happen, but my order was very small (one item), and the product sent was in no way related to the item I ordered (which again was clearly marked on the order slip). I shouldn't have to pay return shipping for their mistake.
