Very easy to use video rental service. Just get your mail, enjoy the movie/movies & mail back for free. Get 1-10 per mailing depending on how much you want to spend. I chose the $16.95 for 3 movies at a time, as I did with Blockbuster. With Blockbuster I had 75 movies that I entered into my Queue, which is the list of movies you want to rent. Same with Netflix. But Blockbuster put all but 7 into LONG WAIT or VERY LONG WAIT. With Netflix they are NOW meaning ready to mail to you. So the ones you want now should be 1-10 and the rest can take over those spots as you take movies out.
They even were very helpful when I returned 3 movies to my post office drive up mailbox on December 16. Never received by Netflix. SO I contacted the Administration offices of the USPS & the Postal Inspector took the report. It was sent to Netflix to sign also. I am not charged for the loss since they have me on film since I told them the time of my return. Netflix stated that we return after we watch them they day we receive them. SO turnaround time is 48 hours from when they mail until they get them back.
I also learned a trick for instant return verification: a slit on the return envelope that will show the UPS seal on the movie cover. If it shows through the slit it is scanned by their machine & dropped into the return area. The machine sends an email that the movie was returned, as it does when they send one to me.
So we are very happy with 3 movies every other day for us to receive, watch & mail back that same day (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) so we get 9 moves a week = 36 for $16.95, which is a deal.
Blockbuster would never send us 3, as we had purchased 3 at a time, but they sent one everyday which got us 20 at the most a month for $21. Half my queue was LONG WAIT, VERY LONG WAIT and then they email me that I am to have at least 15 in the available area. So they were gone after that.
I can have new release movies listed by date of release in my weekly new movie area of the queue & I get the first 3 new movies sent to me every Monday.
Netflix is so superior to any rental service, and their customer service is delightful folks, they even have a great list of movies that you will enjoy that they send to you to choose a new one from. So join me to enjoy a great service that has thousands of movies. No store to go to but very fast turnaround. They send it to you, you get it the next day. Watch & mail back that day to get another one sen the next day. You can rent 1 at a time up to 10. I like 3 at a time, great for retirees to enjoy after breakfast & lunch. They charge my credit card on the 1st of every month. They verify every action from payment to rentals by email. Great service to great customers like us.
