Ok, if you do the research on real world price of item. Lots of patience required waiting for product. This site has lots of unrealised potential!

I have purchased from U-bid in the past and been reasonably happy, but this last time was just that, the last time! First off, it goes without saying that you must research the item that you are bidding on. Many times people pay WAY more than the identical item can be found elsewhere. I am speaking specifically of electronics because that is all that I've ever purchased from them. It appears that most of the items are close-outs or discontinued models. Processing time, the time from the end of auction to shipment leaving is WAY too long. Shipping charges are ridiculous and don't count on them to ship your prefered method. 4 items I won over 2 weeks ago all with next day shipping were sent via USPS, still nothing! They say they will refund my shipping but haven't done that either. U-bid is an enticing auction site, but better off to avoid it at all cost!
