I am an Atheist - Pastor Javid & Yokeup

Dec 25 '07

The Bottom Line This is going out to those who attack me, and not my arguments, Pastor Javid and Yokeup!

In an age and place where Atheists are considered taboo…

Christians who lash out in unprecedented fear, deep abhorrence, and with cheap lies toward us Atheists are only showing us their bountiful array of true colors. It is sickening to see streaks of yellow running down the backs of their cheap suits and filling their wishy-washy brains with ideas that only make sense to the delusional. In some cases, these people will even lower their standards of ethics, which by the way, breaks the moral code of their religion. I find it fascinating that people of “god” will repeatedly ensnare, by their minds, bogus information about their opposition, us Atheists, than use it to discredit or harm others simply because they do not believe. What kind of Christian looks for the bad in people, and then shows it to the world? How many people are out their that are so insecure about their own faith and the people within that faith, they have to lower themselves to smear campaigns on the internet? They do so, by their own judgment, and not facts.

I am an Atheists!

I have been a non-believer all my life. I have never seen anything reasonable about Christianity. The more I deepen my understanding of the history of this religion, the Bible, and people that follow it, the more I hate this religion. I’ve read the Bible only once, and I walked away in awe. My jaw dropped to ground when I understood that the “god” represented in the Old Testament is nothing more than a bully, a diabolical hate-monger, and a murderer of many. My impressions of what I read and what Christians say “god” is, are at polar-opposites of the human understanding of emotions. The Christians paint this picture of how “god” is all loving, and without a blink of an eye, tell you that you’re going to burn in hell forever because you don’t believe. I’ll admit that I have a highly fueled flame burning within me. A flame that motivates and molds me. Being an Atheist is my passion and my onus. As a person who doesn’t believe, I seek answers all the time, and some times I cannot find them. People ask me questions, and sometimes I have to answer, I don’t know. I also have another passion! That is to help people of non-faith come to clear understanding that it is okay to be who you are! Christians tend to want to tear a person down. Some how, telling an atheist that he or she is a parasite on this Earth that “god” loathes unless they start believing in Jesus Christ as their lord and savior is very unappealing to me, and to a multitude of others.

The quest for…

The quest for truth is filled with people telling me things that are not true, and people telling me things that are true. It is up to me to decipher the differences. I must admit, a mathematical proof is so much easier to myself, than the rants of a Christian, or any religious zealot. In mathematics, I know where things fail, or at least, I know where I fail when it comes to the next step. Mathematics is so clear-cut, and so straight forward, that when one is done with a proof there is no doubt what has been accomplished. However, with Christianity and their stories, and their claims on history, and even claims on scientific discovery, I only become weary to the credulity that presents itself every time a Christian speaks. People make claims that the Bible is historically correct. People make claims that the Bible is the inspired word of god. People make claims that the bible doesn’t contradict itself. People make claim after claim that denies truth, history, sciences, etc. I’ve been told that I need to let go of common-sense, logic, and reasonable understanding to be able to understand this god-thing. ( Note: god-thing is an Atheist at Large creation.) This I cannot do!

If you happen to be a Christian.

If you happen to be a Christian, please utilize the conditions of behavior that is normally dictated by the culture of Christianity. If you truly want people to respect your religion within you, then don’t aimlessly bash the hell out of something you do not understand. You should stand up for Christianity, not by fighting or bullying, but by being what Christianity is all about. Some say, I bash the hell out religion, and it’s true, but if Christianity is about hating others, like Muslims, Gays, and Atheists, then I do not want anything to do with your religion. It’s a simple choice for you. If you show aggression in any shape or form, then you’re discrediting the very thing you stand up for. I’ve had many “wars” with individual Christians, and the ones that lie about who I am and what I have or have not accomplished, and clearly indicates deception is a showing a lack of credibility. In my eyes, I often see the cold-hearted reality of Christianity running amuck with their smarmy attitudes, and smug lies. It is pointless to attack a person of non-belief from a Christian perspective because it will instill doubt into the people who observe it.

Pastor Javid and Yokeup…

I may only be a man, but I am someone who watches and learns on a daily basis. You may light that so-called torch of truth that has smeared people of non-belief in the past, but the truth is you are staining your own credibility. It is also unbelievable that you are oblivious to the very actions that you take. You are both so insensible to it, you don’t even know how deeply tainted your own reprehensible reputations are becoming. I call them cheap shots, low-down, and dirty when you make false claims against me. Instead of attacking the person, also know as argumentum ad hominem, attack my arguments! I don’t mind people calling me names, but when you lower yourselves to levels that both of you have sunk to, you only make your religion look much worse. I find it pathetic when Christians, like yourselves, tote a red herring in the room, then leave it behind to rot and fester. After a while, it stinks up the room, the internet, and the whole world. Go ahead believe what your heart desires, but leave the fish behind.

You need to smell what you're shoveling!
