The Bottom Line This has nothing to do with cinema documentaries.
Do any of you readers remember ?? way back...
a black n white series of documentaries showed in cinemas,
called "The MARCH of TIME"
(Emphasis on MARCH and emphasis on TIME.)
Oh well this little writing has nothing to do with that series..IT HAS to do with TIME.

Once upon a time it started
and it showed me the hour twas eleven,
11 oh something ?
and I'll be with you in a coupla secs
or just a minute
or 'a coupla minutes please'
and even gimme a few minutes
and then it was ten past
then 11:11
and another four
it showed quarter past or eleven fifteen
and maybe twenty past
and perhaps eleven twennyfive
and then half past..some also said eleven thirty
and eleven thirtyfive
and twenty to twelve..
then 11:45 or
'a quarter to'
and on and on and on it went
and when it showed 11:48
some said "it's nearly ten to"
and at eleven fifty five
some said "five to"
and two minutes to go
and on the hour of 12 noon
or 12 midnite
it showed 1200
it went 'peep'...
and so it travelled
thousands of miles and kilometers with me
and needed changing twice a year
at daylight-saving time
and once I gave it a new battery...
then after a long long time..
it stopped...
a tribute to my twenty something year old
very low price very ordinary looking swatch...
so who says it marches ?
when it flies!
