Winters here

The Bottom Line It's not all bad

And once again
as every year
we shrug as we realise
winters here.

the days are short
the sun disappears
the nights are cool
winters here

3 months of S.A.D.s
oh the despair
I can barely stand it
winters here.

But what of the joys of winter
whats this I hear
The crispy cool mornings
the fresh fresh air


The snow capped mountains
the hearty fare
It's not all bad
when winters here



Light the fire
and warm the air
nights are long
but its not all drear

I started this poem
with thoughts of despair
but its not so bad
now winters here
