TCU Horned Frogs vs. Utah Utes Free Pick

Nov 14 '09

The Bottom Line TCU will beat the Utes by 16 or less

I must admit being a Dallas/Fort Worth sports fan, I am sick of listening to all the hype about the Texas Christian University Horned frogs playing the Utah Utes on ESPN game day today, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Amon G. Carter Stadium. I do have mad respect for TCU. Their defense line is a force to be reckoned with. Also, unlike all these other teams crying foul with the BCS they have the size and speed to be a contender with big time NCAA teams. They could easily post wins against Nebraska, USC, Notre Dame and many other legendary collegiate football teams.

I'm just tired of their fans making wild claims that they are the best college football team in the great state of Texas. Sure, they can beat Baylor, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Stephen F. Austin, Prarie View, Navarro State and SMU. However, that just does not make them contenders for the National Title. They could not beat the University of Texas in their wildest dreams. I also think they would be hard pressed to beat the Houston Cougars.

TCU will beat the Utes today. By 17 ½, I'm pretty sure that won't happen. I am sure that beating BYU and Utah is NOT even close to beating the University of Texas.

I like TCU by 15 ½. If you can get the Utes  +17 ½, take it!
