Pros: good service, great value for the money
Cons: Customer Service is not very knowledgeable. Customer account info from their website is poor.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend their service. For the money, you just can't beat it. I have also found their service highly reliable, plus- they are relatively easy to bargain with.

I have been with Cingular for a year now. Overall, I have found the coverage to be excellent. I have had very few dropped calls, no fuzziness. Also- you cannot beat the plans that they have. When I signed up for my plan last year, I got an incredible deal: I got 400 anytime minutes, unlimited night and weekend calling, free long distance and free mobile to mobile calling, which is handy since I have many friends who use Cingular. I simply could not pass up this plan! I even changed my plan to something lower, decided to change back to the 400 min. and customer service restored all of my original options.
One piece of advice I will give: make sure that you buy a good phone for this service! My original phone was a Nokia 8260. I know that many people like this phone, but I did not. I encountered a buzzing sound during every call and I did have 3-10 dropped calls with this phone. I know it was my 8260 because my friend with a Nokia 7160 had none of the issues I encountered. I recently purchased the Motorola v60t and boy, what a difference!!! It was definitely worth the money. It is clear as a bell and even receives a signal in the elevator and basement where I work.
My only gripe with Cingular is their customer service and their website. Their customer service is not very knowledgeable regarding technology matters and their billing system has slipped up a couple of times. To their credit, they have always accommodated me, even though in one instance it took a 30 minute phone call to straighten the billing issue out. The website leaves something to be desired as far as paying your bill is concerned ( you have to have your account number, you cannot just enter your mobile number to make a payment)and you cannot get any usage information at all.
