(Follow this thread about the problem listed below)
I have had (2) Two Ipaq 3650's. The first lasted about
an hour. This is when it first came out and was a very hot item. I lost my Casio, after ditching my Palm. You see, I've been at this PDA stuff Before PDA was an acronym. Timing was in my favor, and I bought the 3650 Ipaq. Wow, it was amazing after I finally got the second replacement 5 weeks later. Life was good the Ipaq, and then there was Pocket PC 2.0 - FORWARD isn’t always the right direction. Advertised as “make your IPAQ NEW AGAIN”
boy were they right. Sync problems, and a Backlight that just won’t stay at the brightness level, where you put it. I thought I was alone, NOPE, Look at the link above, there’s bunches of us.
In fact, it a problem on the BRAND NEW IPAQ's too. Compaq’s corporate arrogance has left us ALL
with STUPID resolutions. Reboot (WARM) Reboot (COLD) Hard reset. None of this fixes the problem because it’s in the CODE. When I ordered the Pocket PC Upgrade 2.0 I got billed twice, and sent 2 copies of the upgrade. I only have 1 PDA. I guess Compaq is so desperate to Seal the Deal with HP that they needed some extra cash.
IPAQ… DON’T BOTHER until of course Compaq starts to take their Customers for real.
If by some strange reason Compaq responds, I will amend
this Epinion.
