Pros: Cool looking display, easy headphone hookup, mute button
Cons: Cuts audio on start of sound or when music/sounds get "soft".
The Bottom Line: I wish I saved my money. If you do nothing but listen to hard & loud music, get it. If you vary on your music habits, avoid it.

This little equalizer makes the computer look like a neat little stereo system, but when it came to listening to quieter music or when watching MPEG video that got soft it automatically mutes. Customer support was handy to answer any of my questions on the information on the product but after two attempts to the same e-mail address that answered all my questions on this problem, they chose to ignore me.
The true surround is a nice feature, and when you plug in headphones in the drive-bay unit, it automatically mutes the main speakers, making it suitable for use with a headphone/microphone set.
The pre-set visualizations are neat. Too bad there's no way to customize them.
There are several modes of changing the equalizer levels, and three custom ones you can program. I found the programming a bit cumbersome, but the pre-installed ones should do fine for most users.
