Tower Hobbies is possibly one of the best hobby stores available online for radio controlled hobbies. They have a huge selection of products, I have never found something which they did not carry.
One of the best features of Tower Hobbies is the website search. Within the site, any part can be searched for by manufacturer part number, Tower Hobbies part number, or keyword. The manufacturer part number search makes looking for a replacement part simple.
Tower Hobbies has good prices, not great, but good. Some other online hobby stores can beat them, but no other has the selection that Tower Hobbies can offer. Shipping is also reasonable and Tower Hobbies automatically gives an estimate of delivery date, but sometimes they can be wrong.
Each part has a indepth description including features, what it includes, what is required to install, what the specifications are, and any comments Tower Hobbies feels are necessary. Also, They suggest any part substitutions which is very useful when a part is out of stock.
The most glaring issue with Tower Hobbies is that they do not accept American Express. This is not a big issue, since most people have both a Visa/Mastercard and an American Express.
From personal experience, I have never had a wrong shipment to me(after 10 orders), nor have I been overcharged or bombarded by spam. Prices are competitive and you cannot beat the selection.
Bottom line, Tower Hobbies is a great store for those of you who love radio controlled cars.
