I've had my Verizon phone for three months now. I've had nothing but wonderful service from them, both locally and through the 800 number.
I've switched my calling plans twice already, once to get more minutes, and once because I needed a different plan to travel on. I am able to switch plans at any time during the billing period so if I discover I've gone over my allocated minutes, I can switch plans to get more instead of paying a higher per minute fee. Or if I travel and want their One Rate Plan so there's no roaming fees, I can do that at any time too, and switch back again without fees or extended contracts.
I've also called because I wasn't able to set my voice mailbox up at first. They stayed on the phone and talked me through changing the settings AND tested it out before they let me hang up.
Locally, they've been very good at letting me know about upcoming promotions and changes in service so I know I'm getting the best deal for me.
I couldn't ask for better customer service from anyone.
