My old computer was quiet so when I decided to upgrade to a new one, it never occured to me to listen to what it would sound like before purchasing it. What a mistake!
The Hewlett-Packard Pavilion XE783 is SO NOISY that I had to purchase an industrial Sordin EXC Headband Earmuff for hearing protection. You know ... the one used by trades people working in any unsafe noisy industry such as manufacturing, construction and forestry.
